Michelle's Memory Quilts

Last summer I took an interesting commission. Michelle brought me her parents' clothes and some photos to make four quilts. The first two are done. They are made from her dad's suits and ties.

The first quilt has a background of wool from her Dad's fancy designer suits and the tree is made out of his designer ties. It took months to do this.

I printed out twenty-seven photos and framed them with one of his darker suits. I added a zinger using his ties and added a border of some of his darker suits.
