Tribute to Johnny Gaudreau

So, I got an email from the Calgary Flames office: Could I make 6 to 8 quilts from jerseys, t-shirts, blankets, scarves, etc. Then about three weeks ago, I was asked if I could have one done for today because the Gaudreau family was coming to the memorial game tonight,

So, apparently, one guild had said they would make a quilt which they did. The rest were left to my new friend, Laurie MacDonell, and me. Laurie got a top done and went south for the winter so she sent it to me. I quilted it, bound it and delivered it with two I had made. Hopefully the Gaudreau family like them. Apparently, they are to be sent to charities etc. We'll see.
