Hawaiian Quilts
Last October, I went to Houston (before the US election) and took some fun classes. One was from Phyllis Cullen, who had a unique way of collaging that I thought I would try out and another class by Karen Stone using raw-edge curves. I owned books by both of them and I thought I'd like to meet them and try out the techniques with them. My Neighbourhood Friendship Quilt
Do you remember when everyone was making house quilts? Well, I wanted one too. I designed a house block and handed them out to friends. As they came in, it was so much fun to see what people did with them, some had people ir animals in the doors, Sme had bright colours, some were more traditional, and some just me laugh.
